In 2011, against all odds, at Blanquefort (France), the Ford factory workers succeed to save their plant and its thousand jobs. The joy of victory quickly gives way to new fears of closure, eventually becoming a reality until the assembly lines finally shut down in 2020.
However, a unionized collective (at the “CGT”), led by Philippe Poutou, and followed for three years by the two directors, try to avoid the worst. This film is about three years of struggle, doubts, battles, and hope.
