Simon left his job and his girlfriend in the city to return to his hometown where his retired parents live. There, he reunites with Julien, his childhood friend, who lives with his father recovering from a serious illness. One evening, on a whim, these two thirty-year-olds decide to fulfill a teenage dream: to go on an adventure on the roads. They buy a camper van and enthusiastically embark on their project, but a breakdown delays them. Undeterred, they decide to start their journey… right where they are. This prolonged first stage, the odd jobs they must find to survive, and the subsequent encounters open up new perspectives for them about their true desires and the future they had, perhaps too hastily, dreamed of…
